THE WELL (prayer ministry)

We believe that God moves mightily through prayer, that He listens to those that call out to Him, and that amazing things are done with prayer. We pray corporately on Wednesdays 6-7PM (except for the 1st Wed. night of the month), in a ministry we call the Well. Like a well goes deep into the Earth to gather precious water, we talk with God, listen to Him, and seek His face about issues of the day, our needs, revival, and just to praise Him. We also use select Wednesdays to prayer walk through the local neighborhoods from 6-7PM.

Christ Community Church will go on a church wide prayer & fast beginning 6am Wednesday, June 15 and will end 6pm Thursday, June 16 for the upcoming Vacation Bible School. Resources and ways to fast found at Also, if you need a refresher teaching on Prayer & Fasting go to and scroll down to ECCLESIA: PRAYER & FASTING.

Prayer & Fasting are an integral part of the Christian walk and it is God's will that His people live the abundant life in Him. Part of that abundant life includes seasons of Prayer & Fasting so that we can become closer to God and walk in the freedom that Christ promises. The Bible communicates that Prayer and Fasting are a part of the Christian experience. In fact, Jesus gives us instruction and assumes we will Pray and Fast when He says in Matthew 6:16-18, “And when you fast, do not look gloomy like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces that their fasting may be seen by others. Truly, I say to you, they have received their reward. 17 But when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, 18 that your fasting may not be seen by others but by your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you."

As CCC has seasons of Prayer & Fasting throughout each year, you're invited to join us. And of course, we have the freedom to have times of Prayer & Fasting individually, too. Resources are below.

As we’re gathered together during the Sunday morning service, we pray together. We pray together for one another’s needs, spiritual revival, for people to have a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, and most of all that God would be glorified. We do this by simply taking verbal prayer requests from one another and then praying for those requests during the service.

Also, if there is a prayer request that you would like sent to the elders to pray for during the week, simply fill out one of the blue connection cards with your request or praise, and we'll ensure that the elders get and pray for your request(s).
